Somatic Healing
Reconnect, Release, Restore
What I Provide
Through my extensive experience as a SMGI® (Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery) Practitioner, I've observed the remarkable effectiveness of SMGI® in releasing trauma and aiding in clients transformation both mentally and physically. This approach taps into the mind-body connection, enabling individuals to access and process deep-seated traumas in a unique way. In guiding clients inward, we embark on a vivid journey where imagination meets deep-rooted emotional holding patterns. It's not just about talking; it's about feeling and visualizing, allowing the body to unlock its own healing mechanisms. Clients walk away not just lighter but with a newfound sense of courage, as if they've faced their inner demons and come out stronger.
What is Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery Therapy?
Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery, or SMGI®, is a deep therapeutic approach that addresses trauma by accessing the subconscious directly. In what can best be described as a blend of hypnotherapy and Shamanic Journeying, it gives people a visual platform to conceptualize, interact, and move through their subconscious. Its foundation is based on the premise that every individual holds the secrets to healing themselves. In what many describe as a dream like landscape, sessions are comprised of three basic components: Connecting with inner resources, clearing clutter sabotaging your goals, and integrating additional fragment(s) of one’s consciousness. (We are all internally fragmented and can easily bring ourselves into wholeness with these little-known, but quite simple processes).
